The Best Homemade Soy Milk

Equipment

  • Vitamix

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups non-gmo organic soybeans
  • 128 oz water 1 gallon

Instructions
 

  • Soak soybeans in cold water for 12-24 hours. Pick out skins (optional)
  • Rinse the soybeans off.
  • Boil hot water.
  • Pour hot water and cold water into your Vitamix. (making the water warm)
  • The 2 cups of soybeans will swell and turn into 4 cups. Use 2 cups of swollen beans per 64 oz of water.
  • Blend beans with water, and strain through nut bags.
  • You can cook the milk a little if you like (not necessary)
  • Pour into a mason jar, cool, and then refrigerate.
